Heading back to the radio station from Churchills Grove this afternoon (Thursday) around 2:30 pm I noticed a heavy presence of emergency vehicles parked on the Auburn Street bridge.

Personnel from the Rockford Fire Department and Winnebago Sheriff were all standing on the banks of the Rock River, all focused on the water.

Now I know why.
