Report: Lovie Smith To Take Head Coaching Job at U of I [Video]

From the Bears, to Tampa Bay and now to the University of Illinois? Lovie Smith is expected to be named new head coach for the Fighting Illini.

Fox Sports is reporting that Former Bears head coach Lovie Smith will take the place of Coach Bill Cubit after his recent firing.

Smith has coached coached at the college level for thirteen seasons.

Lovie Smith led the Bears to the the Super Bowl appearance back 2006.

This is certain to generate a lot of excitement for Illini football fans on the heels of a not so stellar season in 2015
