Q98.5 & Townsquare Cares For Military Families

Sometimes saying "thank you" doesn't seem enough. Especially when it comes to our military. The freedoms we enjoy 24/7 365 days a year has a price. That price is paid for by the men, women, sons, daughters and families of our military. That's where Townsquare Cares For Military Families comes into play. We would like to salute a few active members of our military from the Stateline here. 

Seems everywhere in the news , it involves freedom, military action, and rights. This country was built on sweat, fighting for freedom, and paying the ultimate sacrifice.  Thank you Vets, thank you current active members of our military and all of the families paying the price of being apart, even loss, for our freedoms. We are thankful.

Thank you for defending our country Marshal McMeekan of Oregon, Illinois serving in the U.S. Navy.

Thank you for defending our country Cody Schmidt of Rockford, Illinois in the U.S. Army.

Thank you for defending our country Spencer Ervin of Winnebago, Illinois serving in the National Guard.

Q98.5 and Townsquare Cares For Military Families, a non-profit charity, would like to thank all current and past members who have served or who are currently serving our country. We are forever thankful and grateful.

In addition, for the upcoming holidays, Q98.5 and Townsquare Cares For Military Families would like to give back.

Then on Monday, November 23, 2016, we will award a recipient family $500 in cash for the holidays to say thank you even more. It's a small way to say thank you for loving America as much as we do.
