Q98.5 Recognized by State Of Illinois Senate
There are events in Radio that touch your heart. There are events that make you a better person. Then there are events that make you bust with pride. This is one of those events for Q98.5. The State of Illinois Senate just recognized Q98.5 for our recent RAMI Award as 'Favorite Radio Station of the Year'. The Senate Recognition states the following.
The 98th General Assembly of the State of Illinois acknowledges Q98.5 WXXQ. In recognition of being named the 2014 Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) Award winner for Radio Station, and joins in the commemoration of the effort, dedication and hard work that led to success and further expresses its best wishes for professional achievement.
It is offered by Senator Steve Stadelman and signed by Senate President John Cullerton and Secretary of Senate Tim Anderson.
