Puppies That Were Abandoned In Byron Need to Your Help
Let me start this by saying that my dogs are considered family and I love them to death. I have 4, 3 Chihuahua's and one Chi-Weenie. Dogs bring joy to most everyone, Single people, children and retiree's alike. The really are man's best friend. They love you no matter what. You can scold them and one minute late they're back wagging their tail at you just letting you know how much they love you. To me, never has a more perfect companion for the human race.
When I see puppies get abandoned it really hurts my heart. I understand that people come across certain situations in their life where they can barely take care of themselves much less another mouth to feed. If you run into a situation like that you can always take them to the pound of just put up an ad for adoption. Just taking them somewhere and abandoning them is not the answer and it really makes my blood boil.
According to WIFR.com, ten puppies were abandoned in Byron and the officers found them this morning. Deputies from Ogle County and Winnebago County rescued them. Most of them are malnourished and are expected to be around 5 to 6 months old. They look to be a lab mix of some sort. The dogs are all up for adoption now if you are interested. You can call the Ogle County Animal Control at 815-732-1185. Also if you have any information on when the dogs were abandoned or have any info on the suspect please call the Ogle County Sheriff's Office at 815-732-6666.
