As long as an extensive containment strategy is put in place, Illinois may be able to begin relaxing social distancing.

The University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation says:

After May 19, 2020, relaxing social distancing may be possible with containment strategies that include testing, contact tracing, isolation, and limiting gathering size.

Those all working in conjunction could get us closer to "normal" life.

However, these projections can change daily, even hourly, so we need to do our best to keep sheltering-in-place in Illinois.

Last week, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker announced Illinois' stay-at-home order would be extended to May 30.
