Illinois State police are warning drivers to behave, as they have come up with an ingenious way to catch drivers not obeying to law on Illinois roadways.

If you travel in a  construction zone, Illinois State Police patrols will soon start dressing up like construction workers to nab drivers that are not observing work zone speed limits or breaking other laws.

According to a  report from WQAD-TV:

troopers will be watching for speeders, distracted drivers and other violators in construction zones.  The campaign is called "Operation Hard Hat."

Monday, May 6 - Friday, May 10 is Work-Zone Safety Week. Undercover officers will be watching extra closly.
