While experiencing deadly temperatures and windy conditions, an Oregon man reached the summit of Mt. Everest, the world's tallest mountain.

Chad Gaston has accomplished a feat most of us will only experience through documentaries, movies, and pictures. He reached the summit of Mt. Everest with 7 other individuals. His mother, Beth George, explained to WREX the difference in the environmental conditions of where he currently lives and the mountain.

He lives at sea level in 95-degree weather in Costa Rica. So then to go from that to 50 below and ultimately 29,000 feet is just insanely crazy.

Insanely crazy is a perfect description. The two-month journey is almost over for the adventurer but he has not explained his raw emotions attached to the task that some died trying to accomplish. Pay close attention to his blog, Frosty On Everest, because reading thoughts from someone that just climbed Mount Everest is something you won't want to miss.
