All Aboard! I've been saying that since I got my first train set as a kid. I was lucky though, my father gave me his original 1946 Lionel train. It was big, steel and very heavy. It even had smoke pellets you could but in the engine that would make it smoke. I was a really cool tiny version of the massive original. If you love trains, then you're going to love this.

According to WIFR, One of Union Pacific's original steam trains is making a stop in Rochelle July 30th. This is a rare treat because you only usually see thee trains at museums or in pictures. Here is your chance to get up close and personal with a machine that literally tamed the west and changed the future of our nation. The train, dubbed Big Boy No. 4014 will stop at the Rochelle Railroad park from 9:45 am to 10:30 am.

Two years ago, Big Boy was completely restored and its going to be so awesome to see it on the tracks again. Big Boy is making a stop because it marks the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad. For more information visit the Rochelle Railroad Park website.
