Fall is by far my favorite season. I love wearing hoodies, I love the changing colors, and I love Fall decorations, but what I love most of all is Halloween. My kids have already picked out their Halloween costumes for this year, and I am already on the hunt for all the trick-or-treat/Halloween events happening in the Rockford area next month. During my recent searches, I discovered something brand new will be happening at Midway Village Museum's All Hallows' Eve event this year.

What's New at Midway Village Museum's All Hallows' Eve Event in 2021?

Let's start with the important info you need to put on your calendar; Midway Village Museum in Rockford will be hosting their annual All Hallows' Eve trick-or-treating event on Saturday, October 23, 2021 beginning at Noon. As usual, families will be able to enjoy trick-or-treating and other fun Halloween activities throughout the grounds of Midway Village's Victorian Village, but this year's event will also feature a Pumpkin Carving Contest the whole family can participate in!

Midway Village's new Pumpkin Carving Challenge will feature two options; an onsite carving opportunity and a pre-carving opportunity. Each challenge will be divided into 4 age groups, (Pre-K to 5 years,6-9 years,10-12 years, and 13-18 years), with prizes up for grabs for each age group. Pre-registration will be required for both pumpkin carving opportunities and is included in your All Hallows' Eve admission price of $6 per person.
