Parents, citizens and children in Dekalb County and surrounding areas can sleep a little bit better tonight as WREX announces that one of Illinois' most wanted fugitives, a sex offender, has been taken into custody.

30-year-old Floyd Robinson was arrested in Dekalb County during a traffic staff after he gave a false name to police.

Robinson, a registered sex offender in Cook and Dekalb Counties, was not only wanted on a parole violation, he was listed on Illinois' Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list.

He's currently being held without bond in the Dekald County jail.
