The curbside pickup life will soon be getting even better at Target stores throughout Illinois.

Curbside Pickup Obsession

You can call me lazy if you want to, I truly do not care, but I LOVE the curbside pickup service so many stores offer these days. Not only is it a game-changer for the world of shopping and busy parents, but it's really the only positive thing that came out of the COVID pandemic.

Gone are the days of having to brave crowds and endure long lines. Heck, you don't even have to put pants on to get your shopping done. Plus, being able to see how much I am spending as I add items to my online cart has truly helped me stick to a budget and avoid overspending. (Which I am notorious for doing at Target).

Speaking of Target...Did you see that soon we will be able to make returns AND get Starbucks delivered at Target's Curbside Pickup throughout Illinois?!?!

Not gonna lie...I AM SOOO EXCITED!

2 New Services Coming to Target's Curbside Pickup

A recent Target press release says;

As part of Target’s strategy to build on its easy, differentiated shopping experience, the company will begin testing the option for guests in select markets to add a Starbucks order or make a return within Target’s free, contactless curbside service through the Target app.

Ok, I know you're seeing that "testing the option" part and thinking, great, we won't be seeing this option in Illinois for quite a while, BUT I'm here to tell you that's not true!

ABC 7 Chicago reports;

The service is expected to roll out to all of Target's 2,000 locations by the end of this summer.

Oh, happy day!

The way I see it, once these new services officially begin at Illinois Target stores, there will only be two reasons we'll ever need to physically go into the store;

  1. To shop Target's Dollar Spot. (Perusing Dollar Spot items online or via the app is just not as rewarding or thrilling as doing it in person).
  2. To enjoy the scent of Starbucks brewing.

Thank you Target for making all my lazy shopper dreams come true!
