If snow tubing, sledding, or cross country skiing aren't your jam, what if I told you a new outdoor winter experience just opened in Rockford that will allow you to take in the best sights of the city all while staying toasty warm?!?

Say hello to the new Rooftop Igloo Experience at The Top at Embassy Suites Rockford...

Igloo experiences have become quite the rage since COVID, but none of them can provide the beautiful aerial view of Downtown Rockford and the Rock River like The Top's can. I'm thinking this would be a great place for an intimate holiday gathering with your closest friends, a couple's date night, a romantic Valentine's night...the possibilities are endless and will no doubt book up fast!

Important Things to Know about the Winter Wonderland Igloo Experience

Can't wait to reserve your own rooftop igloo experience? Here are some important things you need to know:

  • The Top's Winter Wonderland Igloo Experience is available to rent for 2 hour sessions every Tuesday though Sunday and can fit up to 6 people.
  • The cost is $50 and features a specialty menu of shareable appetizers and festive drinks. (You can still order from The Top's regular menu as well).
  • Pets, smoking/vaping, and outside food and drink are not allowed in the igloo.
  • The igloo is equipped with a space heater and fresh air circulation, so dressing in layers is key.
  • There is no minimum on how much food/drinks you need to order while enjoying the igloo experience, so just book your reservation and have fun!
