Rockford, Illinois is well known for having a diverse and delicious pizza scene, and now there's a new initiative that will reward you for getting out there and trying someplace new!

What is the Rockford Pizza Hop?

Pizza and beer are two of my favorite things in this world, and one of the perks to living in the Rockford area is having a ton of great options to go and enjoy both of those things.

If you have lived in Rockford area for a while and know that you haven't taken full advantage of this city's fabulous pizza scene, Go Rockford has just started the perfect thing for you; the Rockford Pizza Hop!

So, what exactly is the Rockford Pizza Hop? Genius, that's what it is!

Seriously, this new initiative is a super fun excuse to try many of the AMAZING pizzas the Rockford area has to offer AND win cool stuff while you devour them.

Fourteen different pizza joints and breweries, (that's where the "hop" part comes in), have joined the Pizza Hop party, and yes, many of your favorites like Lino's, Lou Malnati's, Geri's, Prairie Street, Francesco's, Woodfire, and more are on the list!

Important Things to Know About the Rockford Pizza Hop

Obviously, signing up to participate is the only way to win prizes and get the deals, but here are a few more important things you need to know:

1. Ordering delivery from participating pizza places does NOT qualify. You have to physically be there AND have your location turned on to redeem points.
2. You earn 100 points for each specific pin you enter provided by each establishment.
3. Prizes can be redeemed in the Awards Tab through the end of September.
