Wendy's restaurants throughout Illinois will soon be serving up a new twist on its iconic Frosty treat, a Peppermint Frosty.

Wendy's Big Frosty Announcement

This is pretty sad to say, but when I saw this post from WGN come across my newsfeed today I thought, "I wonder how many people are complaining in the comment section".

Maybe it is just me, but it seems like a LOT of people in Illinois seem to have a problem with change and live by the motto; "if ain't broke, don't fix it". Sure Illinois residents have much bigger problems to deal with, (and complain about),  than a new Frosty flavor at Wendy's, but I was still expecting to see more complaints than excited reactions to Wendy's announcement. Thankfully, I was wrong and most of the grouchy Illinoisans seemed to stay home this time.

Best Reactions to Wendy's Peppermint Frosty Announcement

Because I like to live on the wild side, I decided to peruse the comments on WGN's post, and here are some of my favorites...

Oh yum! Loved the strawberry this summer....this will be delish!

Glad they didnt make pumpkin spice

Effin brilliant.

I'd prolly slip into diabetic coma after eating that but dang it'd be worth it

Would be so good mixed with the chocolate!!

           Yes! Yes! Yes! Awesome.
Hope their ice cream machine is not broken like McDonald's all
            the time lmfao
And of course, there were a few less-than-thrilled Frosty fans in the mix too...

Barf, barf, and barf.

Here and i got excited for an eggnog frosty...

Are you on board for some creamy, pepperminty deliciousness? You'll have to wait until Tuesday, November 15, 2022, to officially find out! Just remember, these Peppermint Frostys will only be available for a limited time, and will probably sell out quickly like every good thing usually does.

I'm wondering if I could request the traditional chocolate Frosty with peppermint pieces mixed in?  I think I'm on to something here.
