Rockford’s Historic Coca-Cola Bottling Plant Transforms into Family Fun Hub in 2026
Newsflash: The old Coca-Cola bottling plant in Downtown Rockford is getting a new life, and will soon reopen as an entertainment space your entire family is going to love.
Family Fun in Rockford
My two daughters are still young enough to enjoy spending time with Mom and Dad, so we are always looking for new family-friendly places and experiences to check out in the Rockford area. Sometimes, however, it feels like we've already been there and done it all.
Don't get me wrong, the Rockford area has a long list of family-friendly attractions to visit and enjoy, but our girls are quickly approaching their tween years and some of their old favorite places aren't quite as fun for them anymore. When I heard about this place called Cahoots that will be opening in Downtown Rockford soon, I thought "Yes! This is exactly the kind of place my family has been looking for!"
What Is Cahoots?
If your family loves going to arcades, bowling, or simply enjoying a meal and some drinks in a fun atmosphere, wait until you see what Cahoots opening in downtown Rockford next year has in store!
Cahoots Rockford will be located at 314 Prairie Street in Downtown Rockford, right across the street from Prairie Street Brewhouse. The building used to be the old Coca-Cola bottling plant, and I absolutely love that Cahoots' owners have honored its history in the business' logo:
Cahoots Rockford will be opening some time in 2026, and although no official opening date has been announced yet, they are currently hiring for an Event Sales Manager and a Restaurant General Manager. Click here to apply or for more information.
