Ever since I was a child I have been guilty of being an snooze abuser. These days it has gotten even worse. On a typical weekday morning I will hit snooze for almost an hour. Ridiculous, I know, but I just can't get out of bed. I wonder if this new alarm clock would force me to mend my ways, and stop wasting an hour of precious sleep?

There's a new alarm clock called the Ruggie, and the only way you can shut it off is to rest both of your feet on it for 3 seconds. Ingenious or torturous? You be the judge...

May I just mention again that this alarm clock has NO snooze button?!? I can see myself having a love/hate relationship with this particular alarm clock.

The Ruggie is currently raising funds on Kickstarter, but it has already surpassed it's goal of $36,113 and it still has 52 days to go.

Developers plans on selling the Ruggie for $99, and I really think this is a no-brainer for those that continuously ruin their mornings by abusing the snooze.

My only concern is if the alarm will still work if one of my precious fur babies decides to use it as their personal dog bed overnight? Hmmm...
