Nashville is headed into its final season, and a new sneak peek promises plenty of drama and intrigue before the final curtain falls.

The trailer above shows many of the main characters from the first five seasons of the beloved show dealing with various struggles, including Scarlett, Will Lexington, Avery and Juliette, Gunnar and Deacon, who appears to be contemplating a new love after losing his wife, Rayna Jaymes, in the biggest shock in the history of the show.

Nashville ran from 2012-2016 on ABC before the network canceled the beloved show. An outpouring of fan support saved Nashville, which moved to CMT for its fifth season in 2017. Nashville will launch its sixth and final season on Jan. 4, 2018, and Season 6 will consist of 16 episodes that will air in two parts before the finale airs in the summer of 2018.
