Morgan Wallen now has two No. 1 hits. The "Up Down" singer and 2018 Taste of Country RISER just topped two airplay charts with "Whiskey Glasses," the newest single from his If I Know Me album.

"Whiskey Glasses" is No. 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts. Previously it topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, which considers airplay, sales and streaming data.

Last fall, the Tennessee native cut a vulnerable acoustic version of the song for his RISERS video shoot, adding that the lyrics were partially inspired by an old flame.

"I can speak for everybody in saying we've all been through a breakup to where you didn't want it to be over," he told ToC. When pressed on if the girl knows this, he answers with a laugh:

"She better not."

What's the Story With Morgan Wallen's Mullet?

Fans first met Wallen during his short stint on The Voice, but he's transformed since then with help from stars like Florida Georgia Line, with whom he's touring with this summer. The 2019 Taste of Country Festival performer co-wrote Jason Aldean's "You Make It Easy" with Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of FGL, giving him his first No. 1 hit as a songwriter. Their producer Joey Moi also produced Wallen's debut album.

Wallen hasn't shared what's next for him musically but that could change this week as he's playing multiple venues during CMA Fest. Find him performing "Whiskey Glasses" during the 2019 CMT Awards on Wednesday (June 5). After the FGL Tour he'll open shows for Luke Combs on the Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour.
