Missing Man Found In A Field In Machesney Park Thanks To K-9 Unit

Wednesday night, a 69 year old local man was reported missing and a search ensued. After coming up empty handed on Wednesday police found the missing man Thursday. With the help of a K-9 unit police were finally able to locate him according to WIFR.com. The K-9 unit tracked him down and found him in a bean field near a power line around Old Ralston Road near N. 3nd street.

The police had been told that the man had medical issues and just walked off from his home. Luckily the man was found alive but he was taken to Swedish American Hospital for treatment. At this time, his name or current health condition has not been released. I really have to hand it to the police and the K-9 unit involved because if it wasn't for them the gentleman would probably still be lost.
