Missed 420? Coolest IL Neighborhood Is Celebrating This Weekend
If you weren't able to celebrate 420, don't worry... the coolest neighborhood in Illinois is hosting a party for people like you this weekend.
When April 20th Falls On A Weekday, It's Okay To Float It Until The Weekend
There are just some holidays that suck when they fall during the week. It's funny because most of them are "adult" related and involve partying. Of course, "420" is on the top of that list.
How can you partake when you've got to work? Unfortunately, I don't think any bosses would approve the "weed holiday" for a vacation day, even for religious reasons. So, I've got no problem floating it until the weekend.
The Reason This Neighborhood Is One Of The Coolest In The World
Not sure if you remember this honor being handed out at the end of 2021 but the Andersonville area in Chicago won a huge award. They were named the coolest neighborhood in Illinois and United States, plus number two rated in the world. Check it out, HERE.
It's because they get it. They're hosting a 420 party this Saturday instead of a Wednesday. They much rather have fun on the weekend, which is so awesome.
