People always ask me why I work out so much and the answer is simple, it's because I love to eat cheese. No, seriously.Lots and lots of cheese; unless...it's contaminated.

I need you to stop what you're doing and check your refrigerator (I already checked mine and whew, I'm safe); Meijer has just announced that they're recalling select store brand cheeses and pre-made sandwiches; adding to the already growing list of contaminated cheeses.

According to NBC Chicago, the affected are:

  • Artisan Made Natural Muenster Cheese with the expiration dates of March 28, 2017; May 13, 2017 and June 10, 2017.
  • Pre-wrapped ham sub on artisan white baguettes with sell by dates between November 2, 2106 and December 30, 2016.

Additionally, in case you forgot or didn't know, Meijer recalled their Colby and Colby Jack cheese back in February due to possible listeria contamination. There is a possibility that the newest cheeses to be recalled could have been processed on the same line.

If you've purchased these cheeses, you can dispose of them or bring them to your local Meijer store for a refund.

The complete details on the recall and further instructions can be found here.
