Meet Rockford’s 2017 Baby New Year

Rockford's Baby New Year is Blake, and he was born at Swedish American Hospital at 2:31 a.m. on January 1, 2017.

Blake Hooper weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was born just 10 minutes after his parents arrived at the hospital according to WIFR. Yowzers!

The second baby of the New Year was born at Rockford Memorial at 3:36 a.m., and was also a baby boy named Tyler Lee Barton Jr. 

Both sets of parents and babies are doing great, and are still soaking up the excitement of the arrivals of their precious bundles of joy! Congratulations to the new parents from all of us here at Q98.5!
