Receiving lumps of coal in your stocking is never a good thing.

However, if I found these lumps of coal in mine, I'd be happy.

Santa knows that I've been very good because it's a tasty Christmas treat.

I came across this recipe a couple of weeks ago and have been holding off making these.

I will be making these as one of my dishes to bring to the family Christmas dinner.

1 Package of Oreos crushed

5 Cups of mini marshmallows

4 Tbsp of butter

Directions:

1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until  completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add the crushed Oreos. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 2-inch lumps of coal.

This recipe is just like making rice krispies treats.

Now you can see why they're called lumps of coal!
