By now you've read or heard about the water emergency in Flint, Michigan where lead has been found in the cities water supply. Hollywood stars, professional athletes and cities have reached out with donations. There is one local school district stepping in to help as well.

Flint, Michigan is the seventh largest city in Michigan according to Wikipedia. It's hard to believe that the entire population has been without drinking water for months now due to high contamination levels of lead.

But the goodness of mankind has reached out with bottles and bottles of water. Celebrities, Athletes, and water drives have been held across America.

There still is still a need. This week, The Beloit School District is currently inviting the Stateline to bring water donations to Beloit Memorial High School. Donate your case of water or five gallon water bottles to the "Flood Flint with Fresh Water!" bottled water drive at Beloit Memorial High School.

Hurry and donate today because all water collected will be delivered on behalf of the community to the city of Flint early next week.

The 'Minority Excellence Organization' and te school district will be glad to accept your water donations all this week, and at the Purple Knights basketball games this Thursday, February 11, and the Saturday, February 12. To help the drive, if you donate a case of bottled water, you get free admission to the games without and admission fee. It's a nice way to say 'thank you' for your donation in my opinion.

Time is of the essence. Not only to get involved in the bottled water drive, but also for the citizens of Flint, Michigan.

How 'bout a cheer for the Purple Knights!
