Local Non Profit is Seeking Volunteer Elves for Children in Need

MotherHouse Crisis Nursery is a local non-profit organization here in Rockford and they do some amazing things for underprivileged children. They provide short-term child care for families in crisis and they have an event coming up called The Children's Holiday Shoppe on December 5th through the 8th. On those days the children for probably the first time in their lives, walk around a small shop packed with gifts that they can pick out, buy and even wrap to give as presents for everyone on their Christmas list.

MotherHouse is really needing some "Volunteer Elves" to give up just two hours of their time to take the children around the shop and help them get the things they need. Admission for the event is free and the gifts are priced from only $1 to $8 dollars. All proceeds will benefit MotherHouse Crisis Nursery.
