Little Boy’s Christmas Wish for Santa was to Pray for a Sick Baby

Mall Santa's hear all kinds of request this time of year.

This Santa received a special Christmas wish from a little boy.

He asked Santa to pray for sick for a sick baby.

ABC7 Chicago reported a story about four year old Prestyn Barnette that visited Santa at the mall, he first asked for a toy train then he "wanted Santa pray with him on behalf of a sick baby across the country."

What did Santa do? Yep, he he got down on his knees and prayed aloud with Prestyn.

The sick baby is named Knox and little Prestyn knew about him, as his "Aunt, Rebekah Lauren Sharpe, explained, that their family had been praying for the baby, so Prestyn felt a connection even though they're strangers."

"Baby Knox" is in a hospital in Las Vegas, but Prestyn's family in South Carolina heard about his plight though of social media. Knox Joseph was found unresponsive on Nov. 30. His family wrote on their Go Fund Me Page that doctors advised them to take the baby off life support, but the family decided to keep fighting."

Now doesn't that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? It brings to mind the saying of 'having faith like a child.'

What that mall Santa did speaks volumes of his character and how he knows the important role he plays everyday during Christmas season in bringing joy to children's lives.
