Lettuce Tell You Something, Schnucks Has Recalled Romaine Lettuce After E. Coli Outbreak
If you swung through Schnucks on your lunch break recently for a trip down their salad bar or bought chopped romaine lettuce from the deli, I need you to try and romaine calm when I tell you that it could potentially make you sick.
Feeling nauseous? Have stomach cramps? Experiencing a loss of appetite? It could be E. Coli.
According to WREX, Freshway Foods has issued a recall of their chopped romaine lettuce after 35 cases of E. Coli were reported in 11 states, including Illinois.
The contaminated lettuce came from Yuma, Arizona. Health officials say if you're not really sure where your romaine came from, it's best to not take any chances and you should throw it away immediately.
