This past weekend, Q98.5 was involved with numerous events in downtown Rockford. I had the fortune of being able to go on stage and introduce a variety of acts and artists for our station. It's always an adrenalin rush. Let me show you how it feels to be behind the scenes and kick off a show. I am coming up on 20 years of hosting the Q98.5 Wake Up Crew this October. It's hard to believe. During that time, I have had the opportunity to walk on a stage, grab a mic, have a spotlight hit me and hear the roar of a crowd. It never gets old. I can tell you it is a rush matched by no other. I see why artists love being on stage.

Through my career I've introduced Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown, Reba McEntire, Brooks N Dunn, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, Cheap Trick, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and many others. I am blessed.

This weekend, I thought it would be interesting to show you what it feels like to step out on the Coronado Performing Arts Center stage and get hit by the spotlight. The "Kidz Bop Kids: Dream Big, Sing Loud Tour" is ready to go. Don't be nervous, you're on in three, two, one, GO!

It's one of the coolest things you'll ever get to do. As they say, "There's no business like show business."
