LEGO Lovers Dream Experience Is Coming To Illinois In January

The first thing that came to mind when reading about this LEGO event coming to Illinois was, "That sounds painful." if you've never stepped on one of those tiny bricks you have no idea what I'm talking about. If, in fact, you have not, consider yourself lucky. You won't have to worry about this at a monstrous event happening in 2023.

"That's A Lot Of LEGO"

Guests can expect to see a lot of those little bricks, hundreds of thousands at least. At the event,  Brick Fest Live, LEGO lovers' dreams will come true. The only exhibit I'm unsure of is the Giant Brick Pit. This is a photo op where attendees can take a photo while laying (or sitting?) in a pit filled with 200,000 loose blocks. This sounds painful if you ask me but that's just my opinion.

This cross-country tour will stop in Illinois in January 2023 and welcomes all guests. The displays at the event are pretty incredible and will feature several displays from some of the best LEGO masters in the world. Not only will those creators be on site, but they'll also be looking to co-create with guests to complete a massive mural on the ground.

Incredible Photo Ops

Brick Fest Live will also have a hefty amount of photo ops of lifesize character displays too. Some of the past displays include superheroes, lifesize animals, and characters from animated movies and Star Wars.

This two-day event is happening in Chicago at the Tinley Park Convention Center, on January 21 and 22nd, 2023. Everything you want to know about the event can be found here.
