Lady Antebellum Reveal New Album, 2017 Tour Dates
Lady Antebellum have announced their plans for a new album and a massive summer tour in 2017. The trio are set to release Heart Break in June, and they'll visit more than 40 cities to promote the new project.
The members of Lady A spent most of 2016 focused on other projects; Hillary Scott released a gospel project with her family, and Charles Kelley released a solo album and toured behind it, while Dave Haywood spent some time producing other acts. They're coming back together for Heart Break, which is set for release on June 9 via Capitol Nashville. The first single from the album, "You Look Good," dropped on Thursday morning (Jan. 19).
“We knew right away that we had to name this album after a track that is a play on the word ‘heartbreak,'” Scott shares in a press release. ”It’s all about those personal growths everyone goes through, and it was liberating to get back in the studio with Charles and Dave to intertwine those feelings into the recording process. I feel like we’ve reemerged stronger than ever, and I can’t wait to share more music!”
Country Tours Hitting the Road in 2017
Lady Antebellum will kick off their You Look Good World Tour on May 26 in Bakersfield, Calif. Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young will join the group on the road as their support acts for the summer tour. In addition to a number of U.S. cities, the tour is set to play in Europe and even South Africa, where Lady A will be performing for the first time. Lady A will make a special tour stop when they perform at WE Fest 2017 in August.
The trio will share more music from the new album during a Facebook Live event that’s set to begin at 9PM ET on Thursday night. Further information about the You Look Good World Tour, including ticketing information and dates, will be available on Lady Antebellum’s official website as it is released.
