Kate’s Great Pie’s Setting Up Shop At Magpie In Rockford

It's been two years since the Hanley Furniture building fire causing Magpie to close down.

Since then, Magpie has been closed. With a new location, 126 North Madison Street, and a grand opening coming soon, there's some cool news to pass on.

Wish we could tell you when Magpie is officially opening, but we can say Kate's Pie Shop Cafe & Records, formerly at 6685 East State Street, is joining forces with the popular restaurant.

Long story short, the former Kate's Pie Shop now known as Kate's Great Pies will be moving into Magpie once the restaurant is ready to go.

Imagine eating a delicious Magpie breakfast or lunch topping it off with a slice from one of Kate's amazing pies.

When we receive an official opening day for Magpie, we'll pass it on. Until then, we'll just save room for dessert. If you can't wait, Kate's Great Pies takes personal delivery orders on Facebook. She delivers!
