Jake Owen Makes Boy’s Dream Come True In Rockton

Jake Owen proved how cool of a guy he is by letting a little boy steal the show Saturday at Old Settlers Day.

For a seventh birthday I can't think of anything more memorable. Heck, for any birthday this takes the cake.

Jake Owen spotted a boy in the crowd at Settlers Park and brought him on stage. It just happened to be the boy's seventh birthday. Jake Owen led the crowd of thousands as they all sang "Happy Birthday" to the young boy, bringing on the biggest smile Rockton, Illinois has ever seen. That isn't where this story ends, though.

It turns out the boy just happened to know how to play the drums. You can see where this is headed, right? Jake Owen handed the boy a pair of drumsticks and let 'em go. The crowd reached the loudest level of the night as the boy did his thing on stage the country music superstar. It was quite the sight to see.

Maybe it's the dad in Jake Owen or maybe he's just a great guy that wants to share the fun with all his fans, either way it's something the boy and the crowd will remember for the rest of their lives. That's pretty cool.
