I guess I'm just wired a little differently. If I'm not invited somewhere, it really doesn't bother me. I tell my friends, it's not a big deal and don't worry I won't be offended. In fact, many times you're actually doing me a favor. Apparently, this man in Chicago doesn't feel the same way.

Let me set up the situation for you. A couple from Chicago broke up. For most normal people, that means not being invited to your former partner's family gatherings. Well, this guy is angry because the brother of his ex-girlfriend didn't invite him to Thanksgiving dinner.

So he showed up at the house several hours later and confronted the victim. After an argument, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the poor guy 5 times. Luckily, he'll be okay. Now this idiot is going to spend some serious time in jail because of his dumb reaction to the situation. No wonder the girl dumped him.

The shooting happened about 3:50 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Eberhart Avenue when the shooter confronted a 44-year-old man over not being invited to the holiday dinner, Chicago police said.
