I think it's a pretty safe assumption to assume that criminals in Illinois have no fear. If they did, then the suspects would not attempt to commit crimes. That's because every time someone breaks the law, they are taking a big risk. I would say that takes some serious guts. Especially, if you're living that kind of lifestyle.

Serial Bank Robber Arrested In Illinois

The nickname for this recently busted criminal in Illinois is the Route 59 Bank Robber. He earned the name for the series of bank robberies that he committed. Though his reign was short, I would still consider him a serial bank robber for his illegal job resume. He got greedy and it got him thrown in jail.

According to patch.com, 

A Lockport man "connected to all the other bank robberies in the last week" was arrested Saturday in the parking lot of a fourth Route 59 bank by Plainfield police, officials told Patch.

 

After the robberies, where the suspect took an unspecified amount of cash, investigators from neighboring towns coordinated with each other and the FBI to identify and arrest the offender, Plainfield police said.

 

Details About The Route 59 Bank Robber In Illinois

This suspect was arrested before attempting to hold up a fourth bank in just a week. By the way, they were all on the same road just a few miles away from each other. They occurred between October 29th and November 4th. They were all committed on Route 59. Check out his timeline.

As the suspect was getting ready to knock off the fourth bank, an officer spotted him in the parking lot. He matched the description so the arrest was made. At the three successful jobs, he gave the teller a note asking for the cash. At no time did he show a gun. Congrats to the police for making the bust.
