Halloween Cat Tour And Block Party Comes To Illinois This Weekend

When it comes to Halloween and animals, cats are a big part of the holiday, and there is a special Halloween tour for cat lovers coming up in Illinois that you don't want to miss.

A Halloween-Themed Cat Tour Is Coming To A Neighborhood In Illinois

I feel like cats get a bad reputation from people who don't understand them. They're like any animal. Those kitties have their own personalities, and not everyone gels with them. I didn't understand cats and misjudged them until I actually owned one myself. Cats can be a lot of fun and very loving too. They can be fun during Halloween because they fit right into the festivities. If you're a fan of cats, you definitely don't want to miss this event coming up soon.

A few weeks ago, the very first-ever cat tour happened in Illinois, and it was very successful. Now, the Chicago neighborhood is bringing it back, but this time it's a Halloween theme. The event will be held on Saturday, October 10th in the Bowmanville neighborhood, which is located on the Northside of Chicago. It will be followed by a block party, and everyone is invited.

According to Secret Chicago...

It’s not often that cat owners get to take their furry friend out of the house to explore with other fur babies the way dog owners do. All that will change—a Halloween-themed “cat tour” and block party is coming to the North Side!

If you're not familiar with a neighborhood cat tour, this is how it works. Residents in that area who own a cat can sign up to participate. Since it's October, the cats and homes will be decorated with a Halloween theme. A map will be released, and anyone is welcome to come explore the Halloween Cat Tour neighborhood to check out all the sights. It's fun for the whole family.
