When I was growing up, there weren't many options when it came to television channels or shows, especially during the daytime hours. So back in those days, I became a fan of game shows. It seemed like the contestants were having a great time, and they could win some fabulous prizes. I always wanted to go on one. Not in the studio audience, but as a contestant. Unfortunately, it never happened. There is something pretty darn close that I would like to try.

There is a new attraction coming soon to Woodfield Mall. It's called Great Big Game Show. The storefront is designed like a TV studio. There is a real live host of the game, like on television. You can bring out your whole family, friends, co-workers, or anyone else you want to compete with. They set up the games to match up with the contestants.

It's just like a real game show with lights, buzzers, a soundstage, a giant wheel, and other fun props. You can go head-to-head or team versus team. It might not be televised, but it's pretty close to the real thing.
