GoFundMe Created For CD Source In Loves Park, Illinois After Horrible Fire

A family friend of CD Source owner, Brian Bowman, has started a GoFundMe to help him pick up the pieces after he lost his local music store after 27 years of business. This terrible fire destroyed his life work.

According to the GoFundMe page,

While some of you may not know Brian or his business, it was a Staple of the Loves Park community.

It created a vintage environment to buy and sell new and old vintage vinyl, sound systems, record players, movies, gaming systems, etc.

Priceless Items Lost Forever In CD Source Fire

After I got off of work, I drove by CD Source to see it for myself. I got a lump in my throat. Sadness came over me. I spent a lot of time at CD Source and have many great memories. If you're not familiar with CD Source, they carried vintage vinyl albums, CDs, cassettes, movies, shirts, stereo equipment, and so much more. The majority of inventory isn't made anymore. Now, it's gone forever and can never be replaced.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. Hopefully, CD Source will return someday down the road.
