The Scream Club Has Started A Brand New Chapter In Chicago

There is a new club that has just started in Chicago, and I think the rest of Illinois could benefit from it.

Depending on the chapter, Scream Club meetings can be weekly or monthly, but they always take place in a park or near a body of water to minimize disturbance. Sessions typically begin with participants writing down the thing they want to release on biodegradable paper.
This new group is called Scream Club, and they've been popping up throughout the United States. A new chapter has recently been started in Chicago. Scream therapy started back in the 1960s. It has never been medically proven to help, but if it makes people feel better and doesn't hurt anyone, I'm all good with it.

The concept is pretty easy. A group of people gets together on a regular basis. They write down what's bothering them. Then, they scream. Of course, they work up to that primal scream because no one wants to pull a Steven Tyler and blow out their vocal cords. I think this would go over very well in Rockford.
