A Tongue Twister: Illinois Woman Can’t Say ‘Chicago Style Hot Dog’

Sometimes our brains and mouths just don't sync up, and we end up needing a hard reboot to get through a sentence.  For me, it took all my might to say 'Chicago Style Hot Dog'.

You'd think since I was born and raised in Illinois I would know how to be somewhat of a "Chicagoan".  But, that's really not the case.

We know Chicago is known for their deep dish pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, and hot dogs.  I never really understood all the hype around them, but that's just me!  They do sound good right now, though.  Not gonna lie.

I started wondering why people are obsessed with Chicago style hot dogs, so I made a TikTok about it... well, tried to make a TikTok.  What I actually captured on camera was everything but what I initially had in mind.

In my video, I attempted to ask the question, "Why are people so obsessed with Chicago style hot dogs?", but it came out completely different.  At one point, I even forgot what I was trying to say!

It's at 150,000+ views and it has only been up for 6 hours.  Watch and see how long it took me to finally get my words right!  It's embarrassing, but it happens to the best of us.

I guess it's called a "Chicyle Hot Hawhawg" now haha.

I'm surprised at the comment section, though.  So many people are concerned for me because, apparently, this is a sign of a stroke or an oncoming migraine.  Weirdly enough, I just had a migraine for 3 days straight.  TikTok could be on to something!

Without TikTok, I don't think I would've even thought about the possibility of a stroke, so thanks to everyone who took time to comment and help me out!  Fortunately, I don't think I was having a stroke.  Sometimes my words aren't "wording" when I talk too much in a single day - after all, I do talk for a living!
