After bidding farewell to a few destinations for the rest of the year, Rockford residents can now look forward to thrilling new options for 2025.

Remember the buzz about Allegiant Airlines operating from Chicago Rockford International Airport and suspending their flights from Nashville and Los Angeles in October? The possibility of their return is certainly something to ponder.

Initially, everyone thought the flights were going away forever, and based on the public's dismay, those are two very popular destinations.

They weren't going away forever; they were just more of a hiatus starting in October.

However, the Rockford Register Star says whether or not the flights come back in 2025 depends solely on how busy the flights this past summer were back and forth to Nashville and Los Angeles.
