It always amazing to see shelters waive adoption fees on their pets, but I always remind people that there's more to adoption than just the initial excitement.

Winnebago County Animal Services Waiving Adoption Fees For Tons Of Pets

"LET'S CLEAR THE SHELTER - Waived adoption fees on pets 6 months and older this Friday and Saturday
This is our only FEE WAIVED EVENT ALL YEAR

Winnebago Animal Services will be hosting its annual Clear the Shelters event this Friday, Aug 25th & Saturday, Aug 26th. During this special event, adoption fees will be WAIVED for pets 6 months and older.
This event couldn't have arrived at a better time! We currently have 79 dogs in our kennels and 35 of them are available for adoption! And we have 76 cats in the building with 46 available for adoption! Some of those amazing pets are pictured here! They are all eagerly awaiting a family to love them"

Before the event, you can take a look at all the available pets on their website and complete an adoption questionnaire! They'll be open Friday, August 25th from 11am-4pm and Saturday, August 26th from 11am-3:30pm.
