We've waited long enough!  The Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, Illinois has officially announced their grand opening date.  Are you ready to rock?!

We have all passed by, what once was, the Clock Tower Resort on East State Street and I-90 in Rockford.  Every day since breaking ground on the new Hard Rock Casino location in September 2022, it's been a waiting game to find out when it's finally opening to the public.

Hard Rock Casino Announces Grand Opening Date in Rockford, Illinois

On Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at 3:00pm, the Hard Rock Casino Rockford will opens its doors for the very first time!

Guests can explore over 1,300 slot machines, 44 table games, a Hard Rock Café, Hard Rock Live concert venue, several restaurants, and shops throughout the 189,000-square-foot casino.

Jon Lucas, the Chief Operating Officer at Hard Rock International, gave a big thank you to the community and state of Illinois.

What about the hotel?  There will be 250 rooms, but the hotel is expected to open a few months after the casino.

Also, Ho-Chunk Nation announced they're breaking ground on a new casino in Beloit, Wisconsin this fall.  Ho-Chunk officials say the construction could take up to 18 months to complete the 139,000 square-foot casino in Beloit. Details here!
