Living in downtown Rockford has its perks, bar hopping being one of them. I'm not big into drinking, that's why I love finding bars that have more than just drinks - like CJ's Public House in downtown Rockford!

CJ's Public House has pool, bumper pool, shuffleboard, darts, and even slot machines to occupy your time while your drink.

On Saturday, August 5th, The Barbie Party is kickin' off at 8:00pm at CJ's; 300 E State Street in Rockford.

"Come dressed as your Favorite Barbie or Ken (or Allan) and let's make this Barbie Dreamworld a Reality right here in Rockford Illinois! We will have Barbie Drink Specials! Dress to Impress and wear your best Pink Barbie Outfit!"

There will be a bunch of drink specials to choose from on Saturday, too! I hope it's all Barbie-inspired because I know Felipe will be bartending and he is so creative with his drinks!

CJ's will also have DJ B-Side playing tons of bangers to get the party started, too.
