It’s been some time since the Bears have traveled overseas for a game, and considering they’re actually decent now, the whole world is a little more interested.

Will the Bears Play in Spain? The Madrid Rumors Heat Up
There’s a very strong possibility that the Monsters of the Midway play an international game in 2026, and the strongest rumor right now is that they'll play in Madrid.
Here’s why: the Bears hold NFL marketing rights in Spain, and one of their away opponents, the Atlanta Falcons, is expected to be Madrid’s designated home team.

Potential NFL International Matchups: Munich, London, and Beyond
That sets up the possibility of a Bears-Falcons clash in Spain at some point this coming season. Other potential international contests could be against the Detroit Lions in Munich or the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Meanwhile, there’s also talk that the Bears could open the season in primetime against the Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks.

When is the 2026 NFL Schedule Release Date?
We’ll just have to wait for all these rumors to either be confirmed or debunked, as the full schedule will come out sometime between the middle of May and early June.
