Summer lovers, Rockford's hot, sunny weather is gone. Grab your hoodie and see some reasons I think the fall season in the 815 doesn't suck.

Summer Is Gone Too Fast

I'm good with these sticky hot and humid days being in the past. I love some summer warmth, and I will miss endless days of sunshine, but I really like the fall season. Fall is a very comfortable feeling, sweating outside for doing nothing but walking a block, is NOT comfortable. I never feel uncomfortable in the fall.

Cooler days and leaves changing colors...

Nights that require hoodies and campfires...

Lattes of the pumpkin persuasion and hot chocolate under a small mountain of marshmallows...

The calendar space between summer and winter does have some fantastic features, and around the 815, there's a lot to love.
