One Of The World’s ‘Best Places to Travel in 2025′ Is In Wisconsin

A collection of the best places in the world to travel to in 2025 just came out, and as someone who loves to see the world, I'm excited.

That's because Travel & Leisure really speaks to my travel experiences with this list. I've already been to a few places in the past few years, and one is within driving distance of Rockford.

I say that because I've made the hike.

A Drive-Worthy Destination

Travel & Leisure pieced together The 50 Best Places to Travel in 2025, and if you love to see some of the most beautiful spots on Earth, you've got to check it out.

While they covered places like Anchorage, Alaska, and Sanibel Island in Florida, two places I've seen with my own eyes and that are beautiful in their own way and totally worth traveling to, a place in Wisconsin also got a mention.

Travel & Leisure divided its 50 different places into sections, and this Wisconsin destination fell under the Moments on the Water section.

They were talking about the gorgeous Apostle Islands.

Apostle Islands: Wisconsin's Hidden Gem

Travel & Leisure calls the Apostle Islands "A peaceful getaway for boating, fishing, and camping," but it's more than that. It's a place where the beauty of nature is at its peak, as TripAdvisor users described the views as "beautiful" and "spectacular."

Janet G. on TripAdvisor says, "I can't believe I waited this long to visit the islands! We kayaked out to two islands, camped overnight, paddled in and out of the caves, toured the lighthouse, and hiked. The rangers were extremely helpful, and so were all of the other paddlers and hikers."

Planning Your 2025 Trip

Suppose you plan a vacation in 2025 and want to stay off an airplane, drive to your destination, and live in Rockford. If that's the case, a trip to the Apostles Islands is worth exploring.
