Indiana is full of fun attractions. There are a lot of great summertime destinations in Indiana. The Best Summer Vacation Destination in Indiana

Naturally, you might assume that the best summertime vacation destination in Indiana would be Indiana Dunes or Holiday World. According to a list compiled by Travel Pulse, the best summer vacation destination in Indiana is none other than Patoka Lake. Here's what Travel Pulse had to say:

One of the biggest lakes in the state, Patoka Lake turns into a paradise for those who love houseboats and waterside recreation each summer. After you spend a few days on the water, explore the natural beauty of the nearby Hoosier National Forest for a totally different—yet equally as enchanting—atmosphere.

Patoka Lake is the second-largest reservoir in the U.S. state of Indiana. It spans three different counties in Southern Indiana. The lake is a beautiful place to swim, boat, camp, fish, and more. My friends and I have been going there to boat and fish for years. The scenery is great, and it's a nice way to get away from the world and just chill. Plus during the summer, they offer sunset wine cruises that would make for a really nice date night on the lake.
