We start our journey at the World's Smallest Church. World Record Academy sites that St. Anthony of Padua Chapel in Fort Atkinson, Iowa measures just 12 feet by 18 feet and can seat around 8 people inside. A public park and picnic area sit nearby. You can locate the church off Highway 150 5 miles south of Calmar near the community of Festina. A wedding here would be amazing...but keep your guest list small!

The sport of Pickleball is sweeping the nation with courts being built all over Iowa. But did you know that the World's Largest Pickleball Paddle resides right here in Iowa? World Record Academy reports that you can find the paddle, nicknamed 'Big Blue' at Smash Park in West Des Moines. Weighing 150 pounds, it is 10 times larger than a normal pickleball paddle. 'Big Blue' is 13.6 feet tall and nearly 8 feet wide!

This next record is huge...and that's no bull! Albert the Bull is the World's Largest Bull Sculpture! World Record Academy reports that Albert resides in Audubon, Iowa, and is a replica of a Hereford bull. But Albert is nine times larger than a real bull! Albert is 30 feet tall, 33 feet long, and weighs, get this, 45 TONS! Being made of solid concrete tends to add on a few extra pounds!

In an agriculture-heavy state like Iowa, this next world record only makes sense. You'll see plenty of grain bins across the landscape of our state, but none larger than the one in Mason City, Iowa. World Record Academy says that Sukup Manufacturing has created the World's Largest Free Span Grain Bin. It stands 55'7" tall and features 30 rings. It has a capacity of 2.2 million bu, making it the biggest in the world!

We wrap up our world record journey in the Corridor with a trip to Iowa City, the home of the World's Largest Wooden Nickel. World Record Academy reports that this huge wooden nickel is made from solid pine and measures 16 feet in diameter. The creator of the nickel, Jim Glasgow, said it took six months to build the massive wooden coin. You can view it for yourself along the Iowa River Corridor Trail.
