Best Hospitals in Illinois? Patients Say These are the Top 10

My nickname is "Doc" which shockingly does not make me a doctor. That's unfortunate as I could have been a part of one of Illinois' 10 best hospitals as rated by their patients.

I have family members who have been doctors and some that still are. I admire the unbelievable effort it took just to get their education, not even including the expertise it takes to actually be a doctor. I would guess there is nothing more satisfying for them than to hear the praise of patients which is exactly what happened to these 10 Illinois hospitals that patients have rated as the best in the state.

A decision on a medical facility for your care or that of your family is one of the most important decisions that you will make in your life. I would never make a decision based on an internet ranking and wouldn't advise that for you either. However, I do think lists like this are a helpful starting point for real research which should involve direct contact with the Illinois hospital staff before committing your care there.
